Hailing from Montpelier, Vermont, Thomas earned his BBA in Business and History from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Northwestern University. After rising through the ranks at Exxon, where he became the Corporate Planning and Public Affairs Manager, Thomas transitioned to direct a successful venture capital firm. His impactful leadership continues as Executive Director of the New Bedford Industrial Foundation.
Outside of work, he actively engages in organizations aimed at enhancing educational and economic systems for future generations. An avid world traveler, Thomas enjoys exploring new cultures with Liddy. Their two adult children, Tom and Christie, have also found success, embodying the values instilled in them by their parents.
